After viewing Picasso's Three Musicians and discussing cubism, students had to create two self portraits by looking in a mirror and never picking up their pencil once they set it down. One portrait was done using organic lines, the other geometric lines. Students traced their pencil lines with black sharpie and then used colored pencil to fill in the shapes. They were only allowed to use 4 colors that were next to eachother on the color wheel.
